2023 Spring Quarter Updates
The first quarter of 2023 has been an exciting period for SecondFloor. Following our successful launch, we’ve been hard at work enhancing our features and adding support for the most in-demand languages and regions. We’re thrilled to share these updates and improvements, as they’ve significantly boosted the user experience and helped our users get the most out of SecondFloor.
At PPA’s ImagingUSA event, we had a fantastic opportunity to connect with real estate photographers with diverse experiences and skills. It was an enriching experience, as we chatted about their floor plan needs and how SecondFloor can better help our users tackle their challenges. - Support for Larger Floor Plan Scans
- We’ve increased our capabilities to accommodate larger floor plan scans, allowing users to work on more extensive and complex projects.
- Improved Object Detection
- Our updated object detection algorithms provide more accurate identification of walls, windows, doors, and other features, ensuring precise floor plan creation.
- Metric Measurements
- SecondFloor now supports metric measurements, including single-digit precision for room measurements in Australia and New Zealand.
- Built-In Support & Instructions
- To make SecondFloor more user-friendly, we’ve added built-in support and instructions, ensuring a seamless experience for users of all levels.
- Exporting Options
- Users can now choose from a variety of exporting options, such as aspect ratios, orientation, and file size, to cater to their specific needs.
- Optional & Customizable Exporting Disclaimer
- We’ve introduced an optional, customizable exporting disclaimer for users who want to add a personal touch or specific information to their exported floor plans.
